Education & Background

Owner Michael graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State, in 1991 with a B.B.A. majoring in finance. Directly out of college, he started an insurance agency with Farmers Insurance Group™. In 2007, he took a brief exit from the insurance industry. For the past 18 years, Michael has studied multiple facets of insurance, including commercial property and casualty, as well as personal financial engineering and economics and advanced life and estate planning.

Insurance Philosophy

His goal is to get you the maximum protection for the minimum cost. At times, this may conflict with what you may have been taught in the past, but education about costs is what he wants clients to understand.

Competitions & Marathons

Michael has competed in many different events including the 1996, 2002, and 2004 MS 150-mile bike ride from Houston to Austin, Texas, benefiting the MS Society. He entered and completed the 1998 Motorola™ marathon in Austin, Texas, and has completed various other triathlons and adventure races.

Off the Job

When not working, Michael enjoys spending time with his daughter or bike riding. He also plays and teaches tennis to local children.
